SSR Roots Blower

■ The helical construction employs the stator helical method, in which the screen lines of the casing at the suction and discharge sides are cut into a helical shape. The triangular suction and discharge ports, formed by a straight line at the rotor top, are gradually opened and closed.
As a result, the suction and discharge ports of this type are not opened or closed abruptly, which allows these blowers to operate with only limited sound and nearly free from discharge pulsations.

■ The rotors are of a three-lobe straight type, preventing mutual interference even when minor thrust-direction displacements occur—unlike the helical type. Therefore, clearance between the rotors only needs to be ensured in the profile direction, eliminating the need for excessive clearance due to thrust-direction displacements as required in helical rotor types.
For these reasons, these blowers achieve very high efficiency compared to helical rotor types of the same dimensions.
By adopting a unique rotor profile, the clearance between the rotors can be maintained constant, further improving efficiency.

■ Rotor precision is strictly controlled, and variation between blowers is almost nonexistent, as the rotors are mass-produced using precision NC machining. In addition, the rotors are dynamically balanced during the fabrication stage, making them virtually free from vibrations commonly found in conventionally unbalanced rotors.
The most advanced driving gears are adopted not only to extend service life but also to reduce noise. The gears are made from special Cr-Mo steel through hardening treatment and are manufactured to meet JIS first-class gear precision standards. Therefore, harmful disturbances from the gears are avoided.

■ The transported air remains clean and completely free of oil dust, as no oil lubrication is required inside the casing. The structural design prevents bearing oil and gear oil from entering the casing.

With the establishment of a quality management system and a manufacturing management system, the goals of parts interchangeability, reduced production cost, and rapid delivery have been achieved. An adequate quantity of blowers is kept in stock to ensure timely delivery.
