GRL Through-Type Rotary Feeder
Product Introduction:
1.This model has a rectangular flange opening.
2. Features a special through-type structure with top feeding, end air intake, and discharge. 3. Can be directly connected to the conveyor pipeline, reducing equipment installation height.
4. This unit can be paired with a speed-regulating motor for stepless conveyance adjustment. Performance Range: Working pressure: -0.08~1.0MPa. Volume: 4.3L/r~144.5L/r.
In modern industrial pneumatic conveying systems, the through-type rotary feeder serves as the "heart component" connecting upstream and downstream equipment with its unique structure and outstanding performance. It not only achieves continuous and stable material transport but also cleverly balances system pressure, serving as a key guarantee for the efficient flow of powders, granules, and other materials.
Precision structure and working principle
The through-type rotary feeder consists of a rotor, housing, end cover, and drive system as its core module. Inside, it uses a rotor composed of 6-12 blades, with the gap between the blades and the housing precisely controlled within 0.1-0.5mm, forming multiple independent chambers through high-speed rotation. When materials enter from the upper silos, the rotors act like precise "rotary gates" sequentially receiving the materials, with each chamber acting as a temporary storage unit that smoothly releases them to the conveying pipeline when rotated to the lower end. This design simultaneously achieves two core functions: first, mechanical isolation maintains a pressure difference of 0.05-0.3MPa upstream and downstream to prevent gas diffusion; second, volumetric metering achieves adjustable flow rates of 0.1-500m³/h, with an accuracy error of ≤±1%.
Technological innovation and performance advantages
Dynamic sealing technology: Uses cemented carbide-coated blades combined with mechanical seals on the end face, enabling zero leakage of micron-level dust, ensuring safe transport even of ultrafine powders such as flour and titanium dioxide.
Wear-resistant reinforcement solution: For high-wear materials (such as cement and mineral powder), rotors and housings with ceramic coatings or tungsten carbide can be optionally installed, extending service life by 3-5 times compared to ordinary materials.
Intelligent adaptation capability: Real-time speed adjustment via variable frequency speed allows for extreme temperature environments from -40°C to 400°C (high-temperature models equipped with jacket cooling) and can also handle special materials such as fibers and sheets.
Safety protection system: For flammable and explosive materials (such as aluminum powder and magnesium powder), it can integrate nitrogen purging, electrostatic grounding, and ATEX explosion-proof certified motors to meet the needs of high-risk zones in Zone 20/21.
Typical fault diagnosis and maintenance
Periodic abnormal noise: usually caused by bearing damage or material mixed with hard blocks, requiring inspection, replacement, and cleaning of foreign objects.
Speed fluctuations: This phenomenon in direct-coupled equipment is mostly caused by reducer faults and requires targeted repair or replacement.
Sealing leakage: If dust or air leaks occur on the front and rear end covers, it can be resolved by tightening the sealing components or replacing the lip-shaped sealing ring.
Thanks to modular design, core components such as rotors can be quickly replaced within 2 hours, reducing annual maintenance costs by more than 40%.
