Cement and Lime Industry

The core of cement production is "two grinding and one burning": raw material preparation, clinker calcination and cement grinding. The blower is mainly concentrated in the clinker calcination link. The core of lime production is the calcination and decomposition of limestone (CaCO₃), and the main equipment is shaft kiln or rotary kiln. Taking an efficient double-bore shaft kiln as an example, the role of the blower is crucial. It delivers combustion air precisely into the kiln, ensuring that the fuel, usually gas or pulverized coal, is fully burned in a specific area, producing a calcination temperature of approximately 1100-1200°C. At the same time, the cooling air blows in from the bottom of the kiln, and while cooling the finished lime, it is preheated into thermal combustion air, forming an efficient thermal cycle and significantly reducing energy consumption.

Throughout the process, roots blowers are also widely used for pneumatically conveying powder materials such as fly ash and raw material powder, as well as for providing dust cleaning power for bag collectors. In summary, the blower is the core power equipment to ensure the stability, efficiency and energy saving of cement lime production.
