PCB Blower

The blower plays a crucial auxiliary role in the PCB manufacturing process. Its main function is to provide stable, clean purging airflow and dry air, which runs through multiple key production stages and directly affects the cleanliness, quality, and production efficiency of PCB boards.

After the development, etching, and drilling processes of PCBs, a large amount of chemical solution and tiny drilling dust will remain on the board surface. At this time, the strong airflow generated by the blower forms a uniform high-pressure air curtain through the Air Knife device, which efficiently physically blows the board surface, quickly removing most of the residual droplets and contaminants. This significantly reduces the burden of subsequent water washing and pure water consumption, while also significantly reducing quality hazards caused by liquid residue. In the drying stage after the wet process, the blower evenly blows heated air onto the board surface, accelerating water evaporation and ensuring that the PCB board is completely dry before entering the next process, avoiding the impact of moisture on the quality of subsequent solder mask printing or laminating processes.

In addition, in processes such as screen printing and cleaning workbenches, blowers can provide continuous positive pressure airflow for equipment requiring a clean environment, effectively preventing the intrusion of external dust and protecting the cleanliness of the board surface. At the same time, they are also commonly used as the power source for pneumatic devices, driving the movement of actuators such as robotic arms and positioning pins.

Therefore, although not as central as the main chemical equipment, blowers are indispensable in auxiliary processes such as cleaning, drying, and pneumatic control in PCB production due to the stable air supply they provide. They serve as an important support system for ensuring continuous and efficient operation of the production line and improving product yield.
