Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump

A liquid ring vacuum pump is a positive displacement pump that uses a liquid (typically water) as both a sealing and operating fluid to create vacuum. Its core component is an eccentrically mounted impeller. As the impeller rotates, it flings the liquid against the inner pump casing, forming a liquid ring. This ring creates periodically expanding and contracting sealed chambers between the impeller vanes, which gas inhalation、compress, and discharge gas. Its key advantages are a simple structure, smooth and reliable operation, and tolerance to liquid and particulate matter in the gas stream (handling wet or dirty gases). It is particularly suited for pumping moist, condensable, or mildly corrosive gases. It is widely used for vacuum applications such as evaporation, distillation, and filtration in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, paper, and power industries.
