To thoroughly implement the national 'Artificial Intelligence + Manufacturing' strategic deployment, and to fulfill the requirements of Shandong Province's new-type industrialization and Jinan City's 'Smart Jinan' construction, while accelerating the development of new-quality productivity, Shandong Zhangqiu Blower Co., Ltd., together with the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University, has jointly established the 'Joint Research Center for Embodied Intelligence in Industrial and Mining Equipment,' which will officially hold its unveiling ceremony at Tsinghua University on April 24, 2026. As a leading enterprise in China's industrial and mining equipment sector, Shandong Zhanggu has been deeply involved in the industry for over fifty years, always adhering to innovation-driven and high-end leadership strategies, maintaining a leading position in nuclear power fans, intelligent fans, and high-efficiency energy-saving equipment. This deep collaboration with Tsinghua University, one of the top domestic universities, marks an important milestone for the company in promoting in-depth integration of industry, academia, and research, accelerating intelligent transformation, and strengthening independent control of core technologies.

The project closely aligns with the work arrangements of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, as well as the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, fully matching Shandong Province's development of a strong advanced manufacturing industry and Jinan City's 'Strong Industrial City, Intelligent Jinan' development strategy. It will be built into a demonstration benchmark for school-local collaboration, industry-education integration, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, providing strong support for regional industrial upgrading and the construction of new industrialization.

Relying on Tsinghua University's top research advantages in intelligent perception, edge computing, industrial large models, and high-energy-efficiency AI chips, and combining them with Shandong Zhanggu's rich industrial scenarios and engineering capabilities, the joint research center will focus on five major areas: intelligent large models for wind turbines, intelligent operation and maintenance for nuclear power, intelligent diagnosis of mining equipment, full lifecycle management of coal mining equipment, and optimization of mechanical processing. It aims to build an integrated embodied intelligence system of 'Perception — Cognition — Decision — Execution' and to promote the comprehensive upgrade of industrial and mining equipment toward high-end, intelligent, and service-oriented development.
