Centrifugal Compressor

A centrifugal compressor is a dynamic compressor whose core component is a high-speed rotating impeller. Gas gains kinetic energy through centrifugal force in the impeller, which is then converted into elevated pressure energy as it decelerates in the diffuser and volute. It is characterized by a compact design, large and continuous smooth airflow, high operational efficiency, and ease of achieving oil-free compression. It is suited for applications requiring high flow rates and medium to high pressure, serving as a critical piece of equipment in large-scale refrigeration, air separation, petrochemical, and synthetic ammonia industries.
